The hotel is ideally located near French motorways and is surrounded by restaurants. A tram stop is close by, making it easy to get to the centre of Montpellier. The rooms are comfortable, with nice clean bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and good value for money. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and a complimentary tray with tea and coffee in the room.

One downside is that some rooms may be subject to noise from the car park.

The location was both a good thing (close to restaurants, shops, a major highway and other facilities), and a bad thing (in a business park kind of area). Surprisingly, it was very quiet at night...though a tad noisy in the mornings when people starting getting up for the day. Staff tried its best to be helpful. Free gated parking was a real plus, though we never saw the gate closed (but perhaps only due to the times we came and went).

All the info we saw prior to our stay said the staff spoke English, but no one spoke more than a few words, and while it didn't create any major difficulties, it was hard to communicate our needs. The buffet breakfast was overpriced, so we didn't eat it...we did see what was offered, though, and it didn't look like much. Our triple room with double and single beds was a double bed and pop-up, and barely any room for anything other than beds. Toiletries provided were useless...merely there so the hotel can say it provides them...we bought our own at the Carrefour down the street. One tiny tiny trash bin in room.

Location did not work for me. I only took the Campanile because there were no other comparably priced hotels available in Montpellier. Having said that, the tram connection with the city is very good. I suppose other travelers would find the location excellent.
